Faculty and Students of Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University Conducted Off-Site Practical Class

To strengthen the links between higher education institutions and research institutes as well as research centers and to foster collaboration in academic and research activities, specialized base departments of Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University were established at the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.

The specialized base department of "Industrial Ecology" of the University's Faculty of Chemical Technology and Ecology was created on the foundation of the Central Laboratory and the Environmental Protection Technology Laboratory of the International Science and Technology Park.

The primary objectives of establishing this base department include: training young specialists in line with modern advancements in science, engineering, and technology based on scientific principles; effectively utilizing the skills and expertise of highly qualified professionals by pooling the scientific capabilities of both parties; leveraging the scientific potential of the International Science and Technology Park in training young personnel; and enhancing higher education for young specialists based on the latest achievements in science and technology (innovations).

The faculty members of the Department of Industrial Ecology within the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Ecology of Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, along with students majoring in "Environmental Protection and Rational Use of Natural Resources," regularly conduct off-site classes at the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.

The purpose of this off-site class is to bridge students' theoretical knowledge with the scientific research conducted in the laboratories of the International Science and Technology Park. Students get acquainted with the structure of the International Science and Technology Park, its laboratories, as well as the general characteristics and outcomes of the ongoing research projects.
