Turkmen Delegation Participates in the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku

The 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue is taking place in Baku on 27 October 2026. A Turkmen delegation comprising representatives of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan is participating in the forum.

The programme includes an opening ceremony at Gulustan Palace and a special joint session of the 3rd High-Level Meeting of International Organizations and the 6th Ministerial Meeting of the Baku Process.

Discussions focus on intercultural dialogue, cultural diplomacy and peacebuilding. Dedicated sessions address the development of intercultural competence in the digital and AI age, the role of culture and tourism in shaping a shared future, and intercultural leadership. An academic forum is also taking place at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and ADA University.

The participation of representatives of Turkmenistan’s education and culture sectors provides an opportunity to exchange experience and discuss prospects for international cooperation in education, culture and intercultural understanding.
