Meetings with foreign specialists were held at the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan

On October 12, 2026, the leadership, faculty, and students of the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan held meetings with foreign scientists, specialists, and physicians who had arrived in the country to participate in the international exhibition and scientific conference titled “Healthcare, Education and Sport in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State”.

The foreign guests also toured the university’s academic buildings, research centers equipped with modern high-tech machinery, and simulation labs, and viewed the state-of-the-art facilities provided for students.

The guests highly commended the progress achieved in Turkmenistan’s healthcare and medical education sectors, particularly noting the research activities and outcomes involving medicinal plants. The meetings served as a platform for exchanging views on the advancement of medical science, fostering academic mobility - including the exchange of professional experience among students and young scientists and implementing joint research projects in the future.
