AN OUTREACH LESSON WAS ORGANIZED
An outreach lesson was organized at Specialized Secondary School No. 27 named after Berdimuhamet Annaýew in Gökdepe District, with the participation of experienced teachers and students from Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan. The main objectives of the outreach lesson were to foster a strong sense of national identity among university students, provide them with information about the heroic life of Berdimuhamet Annaýew, a respected teacher, soldier, and patriotic figure, and conduct an introductory lesson for senior school students, taking into account the school’s specialization in information technology and cybersecurity.
The students first visited the school museum, where they learned about the heroic life of Berdimuhamet Annaýew, his awards and distinctions received during the Second World War, and other historical documents and materials on display. Afterwards, the students were introduced to information about prominent figures from the village of Yzgant who have made significant contributions to the development of the Turkmen people in various fields. The stories and information presented made a strong impression on the students.
As part of the outreach lesson, a university lecturer specializing in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity conducted an introductory session for senior school students. The lecturer introduced the students to the achievements of artificial intelligence and modern digital technologies, as well as the degree programmes offered by the university in these fields.The session served as a valuable learning experience, helping students become familiar with modern fields of study and supporting them in making informed choices about their future professions.
During the outreach lesson, lecturers, master’s students, and university students also expressed their deep respect and pride in the heroic life of Berdimuhamet Annaýew, a teacher, soldier, and respected member of the community.
