Solemn event was held

On October 1, 2026, a solemn event dedicated to the International Day of Older Persons was held at the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan. The event was attended by honoured elders of Mary Velayat, silver-haired mothers, members of the Institute’s academic staff and students. In the course of the event, a number of speeches and congratulatory remarks were delivered, noting that the International Day of Older Persons is solemnly celebrated every year on October 1 in all United Nations Member States. To mark the occasion, the Institute’s public organisations presented commemorative gifts to the honoured elders, silver-haired mothers, and academic staff. The Institute’s talented and enthusiastic students then performed several songs praising our Motherland, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar. At the conclusion of the event, the participants expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag and to the Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar for all the opportunities being created.
