Representative of Turkmen Agricultural University participates in IAEA meeting in Vienna
At the Vienna International Centre in the Republic of Austria, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) hosted a technical meeting titled "Establishing a Regional Network of Isotope Hydrology Laboratories in Central Asia." Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov was represented at this international forum by Kadyr Amanov, Head of the Technology Transfer Center and Lecturer at the Department of Livestock Product Processing. This was reported on the official website of the higher educational institution.
During the meeting, participants discussed the development of isotope hydrology in Central Asian countries, sustainable management of transboundary water resources, and the strengthening of interregional cooperation within the framework of the GloWAL (Global Water Analysis Laboratories) network. Speaking at the event, the representative of the Turkmen Agricultural University provided detailed information about the university's scientific capabilities, laboratory infrastructure, and existing expertise in this field.
As part of the international meeting, views were exchanged on sharing experience among regional laboratories, enhancing professional skills of specialists, and implementing joint future projects. The participation of the Turkmen specialist in this meeting marks an important step toward elevating the university's international scientific and technical cooperation to a new level and consolidating its role in interregional scientific initiatives.
