The postgraduate department of Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory held an educational and methodological conference "Scientific work and modern research methods." At the conference, graduate students spoke to students with topics related to scientific research and methods of conducting scientific work.
Vice-rector for scientific and creative work Yazmyrat Rejepov spoke on the topic “A bright representative of the art of bakhshi”, where the issues of the tradition of the art of Turkmen bakhshi, the performing skills of the folk bakhshi of Turkmenistan Myane Garayev, in whose work they found the implementation of the techniques of various national performing schools, as well as the development of performing techniques for playing the dutar.
Maral Meredova, Senior Lecturer of the Chamber Ensemble Department, spoke on the topic “Work on a monograph”, which examined the features of the monograph genre, the choice of a topic for a monograph, the historical significance of the chosen topic and the importance for modern society, the use of scientific sources and modern methods of working on a monograph.
Senior lecturer of the Department "History of Music", Candidate of Art Agajan Achilov spoke on the topic "The main issues of work on a scientific topic". The following issues related to the selection of a topic for scientific research and the preparation of a work plan, the stages of work on research and the definition of keywords, goals and objectives of scientific work, familiarization with scientific literature (monographs, scientific articles, theses, books, dissertations, abstracts, etc.), the conclusions of scientific research and the design of scientific work are disclosed in the speech.
The Senior lecturer of the department "History of Music" Rovshen Mukhammedov spoke on the topic "Features of work on a scientific article". On the stated topic, the graduate student explained to the students about the methods of working on a scientific article. Issues such as the topic for a scientific article, the purpose of the study, scientific analysis, familiarization with the scientific works already performed and their use in the work, the sequence of work and the correct design of the literature used were touched upon here, as well as interesting information about scientific publications of Turkmenistan was presented.
Senior lecturer of the Department of Music Theory Mivegozel Saparmuradova spoke on the topic "Scientific research methods". The report examined the methods of scientific research that are interrelated, complement each other organically, and necessarily meet the tasks set. Also, the speaker paid special attention to comparative historical analysis, which allows you to identify cause-and-effect relationships and build a logical chain, classifies the methods of analysis, dividing them into theoretical and practical groups, reveals their features.
At the end of the scientific and practical conference, the participants of the meeting expressed the same opinion that it is necessary to continue to meet, exchange opinions, contribute to the development and dissemination of the national song and music art of Turkmenistan on the world stage.
